Offshore Cruising Tenders will be attending the 2024 Auckland Boat Show in full force, with the full range proudly on display for the first time ever.
It’s a big deal for the family-owned business which builds-to-order from their factory in Northland to keep up with demand.
The range at the boat show will include an OC270, OC300, OC330, OC350 Sailing Tender, and an OC400 as showcased by ZeroJet who will be sharing the stand.
The visual of all five tenders together in one space is an exciting prospect for owners Russ and Karin Carlyon, who now have almost a decade of business in their wake and close to 800 tenders spread across the globe.
“It’s always humbling and rewarding to take a step back from the factory and see how much ground we’ve covered. The community of owners is nothing short of magical, and they are a huge testament to our success. There’s no more efficient marketing tool than word of mouth, cruiser to cruiser,” says Karin.
Often asked why they are not attending large-scale international boat shows, she says the growth of their business is something kept close to their hearts, family, and home
“We are very proud to be where we are today with a committed team onboard who have perfected the product and embraced the brand. To offer an innovative range of tenders which is New Zealand designed, owned, manufactured in Northland, and sold worldwide is very special. To know we have somewhat helped reshape how people think about their tenders and see such a renewed interest in hard tenders because of our original concept is heartwarming – it means we are on the right track” she says.
For Russ and Karin, the Auckland Boat Show is not about sales, advertising, or deals. It’s about connecting with their community of owners and fans, supporting New Zealand’s marine industry, and falling in love with their product all over again. They have not missed a single show since they started trading in 2015.
This year there will be a dynamic display of tenders and components, the newest accessory on show being the ‘anchor well lid’ along with various other samples and illustrations of the boat building process.
The team will be situated in the Viaduct Events Centre at stand 121, and look forward to seeing you there.
