ZeroJet, the award-winning electric drive technology company, is showcasing the latest electric jet systems with its international boat building partners at the 2024 Auckland Boat Show.
This is a unique opportunity to view the innovative ZeroJet-powered Highfield EJET330 electric jet which has been showcased at some of the largest boat shows in the world.
This all-new electric boat boasts a super sleek low-profile design and a very impressive top speed of 20 knots- this is not your average tender!
With no requirement for a bulky outboard at the rear or a giant combustion engine in the middle of the boat, Highfield had the ability to re-imagine how they could maximise the space on board the RIB. Mounting the electric motor, batteries and running gear so that they are hidden away from the user has made this the safest tender, and with no exposed propeller it is safer to use in the water for kids and divers, and for travelling over rocks and reefs. The new extended swim platform is ingenious, making this the largest 3.3m RIB available in the market today with loads of storage space- clearly a game changer!
Neil Mans, ZeroJet Co-founder, comments: “It is fantastic to see our innovative jet propulsion system being adopted by leading international boat builders like Highfield and to be able to demonstrate our technology at the 2024 Auckland Boat Show.”
Those interested in purchasing an EJET330, will be able to book a demo ride in the sea-trial area of the marina next to the Highfield stand outside the Viaduct Events Centre and experience first-hand the thrill of a ZeroJet-powered boat.
In addition to the sea trials, ZeroJet is displaying its latest electric jet system alongside local boat builder Offshore Cruising Tenders. OC Tenders are renowned for their lightweight and efficient hulls – couple this with a ZeroJet jet drive and you have the highest power to weight electric boat in the world – a great testament for two amazing New Zealand companies working together!
The ZeroJet-powered OC Tenders range from 3-4m in size and include a 48V system with the latest ZeroJet electric drive, 5kWh battery pack, tiller steering, electronic throttle control, and LCD display.
