Kiwis are about to experience Beneteau’s NEW Generation with the Oceanis 51.1 making its New Zealand debut at the 2018 Auckland On Water Boat Show.
This hotly anticipated new model has a host of features and innovations which are a tribute to the extensive design and research processes conducted by Beneteau over 130 years in business.
“Reaching an entirely new generation for the seventh time is a huge feat, as anyone who understands production yacht design will truly appreciate,” notes 36 Degrees owner and director Conrad Gair.
With taut lines, a new stepped hull, and stylish deck plan, the Oceanis 51.1 is a true showcase of progression and determination to be the best.
One of the biggest drawcards to this series is its versatility. There’s hundreds of ways this boat can be laid out, and this has wide ranging appeal for cruisers, racers, and performance-cruisers alike.
“Beneteau has always striven to lead the way in design and innovation. This model offers its owner a new world which hasn’t been experienced before, with the hull shape alone giving maximum interior volume while not losing out on performance or speed,” Conrad explains.
Some of the other key features include a fully opening transom which converts to swim platform, a clean deck layout with all lines leading back to the helm station, and a lush masters’ suite with island bed and loads of storage.
“Like any boat, the difference is recognised when you step aboard. The amount of natural light in this boat is certainly amazing – and it’s the perfect setting to take in all the other flourishes throughout,” he explains.
The Oceanis 51.1 will be available to view as part of the 36 Degrees Brokers stand.
We encourage you to contact us prior to the show if you’re wanting a private tour, otherwise we welcome your visit during the show.
