Ownaship is New Zealand’s largest boat share management company. It manages shares in a range of luxury vessels from its base at Westhaven Marina.
Ownaship shareholders enjoy hassle free boating with its walk on/walk off service and professional management of their asset. This includes cleaning and valeting after use, a servicing and maintenance program, marina, insurance, basic provisions, unlimited standby usage and easy online booking. Ownaship provide comprehensive training and 24 hour support, with options for skippering and valet parking, catering, and boat relocations.
At the show this year it will be exhibiting a Maritimo M51 luxury launch and a Lucia 40 sailing catamaran from Fountaine Pajot. This is the first time a Lucia 40 will be shown in New Zealand. Both boats represent a step up for Ownaship and its shareholders — they will be its largest vessels to date, as well as the largest professionally managed share boats in New Zealand, both power and sail.
At the show they’ll also introduce the Maritimo X60 and a new Fountaine Pajot 45 catamaran, both joining the fleet next year. These new additions are a sign of the increasing popularity of shared boating, with the company growing its fleet from 10 to 16 in the next 12 months. This growth sees the fleet grow not only in number but in size, with the likes of the X60 taking owners into new, superyacht like territory. The addition of two catamarans into the fleet also reflect the growing demand for these increasingly popular vessels.
